Experience
For the past 12 years, I’ve worked inside a growing e-commerce business, supporting and maintaining the same website over the long term. That kind of consistency is rare, and it’s shaped how I think about websites more than anything else.
I was there for the day-to-day reality: launching new products, handling updates, fixing issues as they came up, improving performance, and making sure the site kept working as the business evolved. Over time, I became responsible not just for how the site looked, but how it functioned, scaled, and held up under real use. My experience spans website design, long-term support, and SEO focused improvements.
That experience taught me what most people don’t see from the outside. I’ve watched what happens when something is rushed, overbuilt, or poorly planned, and I’ve also seen the value of doing things right the first time. Small decisions compound over years, especially when a site is relied on daily.
My role has always lived at the intersection of technical work, organization, and long-term thinking. From site structure and updates to ongoing improvements and maintenance, the focus has been on clarity, efficiency, and reliability. The goal was never to chase trends, but to keep the website steady, usable, and dependable.
Twelve years working on the same platform gives you a different perspective. It teaches patience, accountability, and respect for systems that need to last. That mindset carries into everything I do now: building and supporting websites that aren’t just launched, but lived with.
